At program POTA, we are pledged to spend your money responsibly and in accordance with our mission. Therefore, you can read below where exactly your donation will go. The organisation keeps separate financial records relating to the POTA program, the training of volunteers and the work of the accompanying team, as well as the collection of donations for the project hosts and the missions where the volunteers are sent.

In 2022, 51 volunteers participated in 8 POTA projects – Kenya, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Ukraine, India, Peru and Madagascar.
The total amount of funds raised for POTA 2022 projects and programme is €71.600. Thanks to the kindness of everyone who contributed, we exceeded our plan (€47.000). To all those who have donated, to all the parishes that have welcomed volunteers, thank you very much for your donation.
The donations collected were distributed for various purposes:
POTA Kenya – €13.920 (for the organisation of a youth meeting, for sports and music equipment, a donation for the volunteer centres)
POTA Kazakhstan – €5.370 (materials for children’s activities, materials to facilitate physical work at the mission, sports and didactic materials, a guitar for the music school)
POTA Argentina – €4.470 (materials for activities for children and young people, purchase of basic necessities for the poor)
POTA Ukraine – €5.700 (materials for children’s activities, materials for house whitewashing and help to buy houses for refugees)
POTA India – €8.200 (for materials for the school, school fees for the girls, building materials for the renovation of the school, support for the weaker families around the mission, support for the Hope Home orphanage)
POTA Peru – €3.000 (for the purchase of building materials for the work of the mission)
POTA Madagascar – €25.550 (materials for children’s activities, materials for construction work and for the operation of the mission by Slovenian missionaries)
POTA program – €4.645 (to support the operation and development of the programme)
The remaining funds (€745) are transferred to the POTA projects in 2023.
